What is FigJam used for in this course?
Revision · 6 cards
These come back on a schedule, spaced to catch you just before you’d forget.
First thing to do with the course template
Duplicate it into your own drafts — the shared copy is read-only.
Which Figma plan?
Free Starter is enough. Apply for the education plan early if you qualify — approval takes days.
Export settings for submissions
PNG at 2x, frames exported individually. At 1x your text goes soft when the reviewer zooms in.
File naming convention
M03-sitemap-v2. Pad module numbers to two digits; never write 'final'.
What's FigJam for?
Research synthesis and affinity mapping — the messy thinking that shouldn't live in a design file.
Why does the submissions page matter?
It becomes your archive. In module eight it's the raw material for your portfolio.
