UX Design · First cohort 2026

Learn UX by doing
the work.

Most UX courses hand you a certificate for watching videos. This one makes you earn it — 8 graded exercises ending in a capstone case study, and a credential a recruiter can verify in one click.

Orientation

How the course works, how you'll be assessed, and getting your tools set up so nothing blocks you later.

You build: A working Figma workspace

Hover a segment to explore.

The problem

You can watch a hundred hours of UX content and still not be able to do the job.

Free tutorials teach tools. They show you where the buttons are in Figma. What they can’t do is tell you whether the thing you just made is any good, or why the hierarchy on your screen isn’t working, or what a hiring manager will think when they open your portfolio.

That gap — between recognising good design and producing it — only closes with feedback on your own work, repeated. This course is built entirely around that loop.

How it works

Feedback

Every exercise is reviewed by a person

You submit a screen; Savinda reviews it himself against the rubric — hierarchy, contrast, spacing, affordance, alignment — and tells you what to change. Not a checkbox, not a template. This is why the cohort is capped: there are only so many reviews one person can do properly.

Retention

Revision built into the course, not left to you

Every module has a spaced-repetition deck that resurfaces the ideas right before you'd forget them. You finish able to use the vocabulary in a meeting, not just recognise it in a video.

Proof

A certificate that can actually be checked

Cryptographically signed, with a public verification page anyone can open — no account, no login. It's earned by finishing every lesson, passing every quiz and getting the capstone approved. That's what makes it worth showing.

Practice

You leave with a portfolio, not a folder of notes

Nine modules, nine artifacts, ending in a capstone case study built to survive a hiring manager's ninety-second skim. The work is the point; the videos are how you get there.

Curriculum

Nine modules. Nine things you’ve built.

Each module ends with an artifact that goes into your portfolio. The first two are free — start before you pay anything.

The credential

A certificate that survives scrutiny.

Every certificate is cryptographically signed and published at a permanent verification URL. Anyone can open it — no account, no login — and confirm it’s real, who earned it, and what they had to do to get it.

  • Signed with Ed25519 — tampering with a single character breaks verification
  • Public key published, so verification doesn't depend on trusting us
  • Open Badges 2.0 and 3.0 formats, add-to-LinkedIn in one click
  • Revocable, and shown as revoked if it ever is

Who’s teaching

Savinda Rukshan has been teaching UX on YouTube to a growing audience — this is that course, built properly.

The free series covered the ideas. What it couldn’t do was look at your work and tell you what to fix. That’s what this is for.

One course, done properlyThis is the only thing being taught here, and it will stay that way until it’s genuinely good. A narrow course reviewed by a person beats a broad catalogue nobody finishes.

The first cohort will be small, and cheaper than it will ever be again.
